*BRONHEULOG SPRING-SONG LOM (Bronheulog Royal x Rotherwood Flower Song).  In the spring of 2000, we saw a beautiful chestnut filling in the pastures of Wales.  We purchased her and flew her to the USA that winter.  When Spring arrived, she was just as wild as a March hare.  At her first show I was afraid to take her off the trailer so I groomed and haltered while she stood inside.

Once I got her to the ring I told Bud, the gateman, to please shut the gate in case she got away from me.  She stormed off at a huge trot and continued down the rail, as we made the first turn, she snorted, and I thought "here we go!"  She flipped her tail over her back and did the biggest trot I had ever seen back to the steward.  I was so impressed, number one with her, and number two, that I had stayed on my own two feet!  She won her class that day under both judges and continued with consistent wins for several years.

 When Spring accumulated enough halter points, we brought her out under saddle.  At each new show, Spring continued to give us a scare that she would rocket launch into another galaxy as she came down the rail at a full blown trot!  Her junior rider's eyes were always as big as saucers!  We are forever grateful to Madison Voss who showed Spring in her final English Pleasure and Division Championship AND her Legion of Merit.

Spring is now enjoying motherhood and is due in March for her second foal by *Telynau Royal Charter.  Her first filly is currently on the east coast being prepared for the show ring where we assume she will give that same thrill to her owner.  Our plan is for Spring to have several foals and then to bring her back in the hunter ring, so watch out for this special pony!
