CHRISTIE'S DESERT STORM LOM (Liseter Cadet x Liseter Dancing Slipper) owned by Christie Feoli was foaled in 1991.  "Stormy's" dam was purchased at the Liseter Hall Sale in 1988 for Christie.  After Christie rode her in leadline at the Devon Horse and Pony Show in 1989 and the family attended their first Welsh Pony Show at Penn-MaryDel that same year, she was bred to Liseter Cadet.  When in 1996 Christy sold Stormy's half brother "Christie's Bugle Boy" who was only 26 points shy of his LOM, it became a personal goal to achieve that honor with "Stormy".  He was shown in hand by Susan Degenhart and ridden by his owner Christie Feoli in the Hunter and Pleasure Classes.  He also had success in Leading Rein and Child's First Pony Divisions.  "Stormy" will continue to show with his new rider, Christie's sister, Taylor.

 His 1999 show career includes WPCSA National Champion Section A Gelding 3 and over, Champion Hunter 12.2 and under, Champion English Pleasure 12.2 and under and Reserve Champion Child's First Pony.  He was also awarded the Western Glow Performance Award.  "Stormy" is the third pony to receive an individual LOM that Christie has ridden;  not bad considering only 12 ponies to date have gotten this prestigious award.  The bulk of "Stormy's" 1723 points (814 halter and 909 performance) were achieved during the past 3 years.
