A-38104 Courtway Formal Attire LOM
(Cusop Flutter x Moorcock Halcyon)
One doesn’t usually associate the word versatile with
stallions, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth when it comes to the
dynamic Section A black stallion Courtway Formal Attire LOM (Cusop Flutter x Moorcock
Halcyon).
Affectionately known as “Tux”, this stallion can do it all - pleasure and carriage driving, adult and small hunter, small pleasure under saddle, as well as being shown in-hand. Those who know Tux can see he is aptly named-a black stallion with a flashy white blaze and 4 white socks. With a personality as big as his heart, Tux passes on both his talents and color to his offspring e.g. Clarwood Debutante and Clarwood Formally Attired who have both won National Awards.
Before being imported to the US, Tux was successfully shown in England and Wales where he won Glanask and the Royal of England as a yearling. In addition to this Tux won National Champion Section A colt in 1998 and in 2000 and 2001 he was National Reserve Champion Section A Stallion.
Imported by Guy and Helen Clardy of Clarwood Farm in October of 1997, Tux was bred in Wales by Jocelyn Price of the Courtway Stud. He comes from a long line of winners on his dam’s side, such as the Cusop bred ponies Sparklett and Sheriff, who had huge influence on breeding in the United States. His sire, Moorcock Halcyon, is a regular Welsh Pony and Cob Society U.K. Premium award winner.
