DIXIE BLUE DUCHESS LOM (Findeln Blue Danube x  CC Dawn), owned by Arthur and Gail Thomson, Gayfields Welsh Ponies, was bred by Coleman Cowan and foaled in 1981 at Heart of Dixie (hence the prefix).  Duchess, a Section B, is 13.1hh and has produced a total of seven foals.

Dixie Blue Duchess was lightly shown and her most memorable win was as Champion B Mare at Tulsa.  Contributing to her award are her first three foals, all by Legion of Merit winner *Sleight of Hand.  Gayfields Court Scandal, 1100 points, is owned by Tracy Henderson.  Gayfields Call The Lawyer, 778 points, owned by Arthur and Gail Thomson, was quite successful as a youngster shown by Arthur and now is being shown as an adult in hand and adult English Pleasure by Ron Schwartz.   She was Grand Champion B Mare at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto last fall and has won 7 Supreme Championships in 13 months of showing.    Lawyer is 1998 High Score Section B Mare Champion.  Gayfields Call The Cops (x *Sleight of Hand), 741 points, is owned by Jackie Hubert.  Cops is being shown in hand and performance classes in California in addition to stud duties.   Additionally, Gayfields Call The Boss (x *Springbourne Buckle) is being driven by Rudy and Debbie Schuster (227 points), Gayfields Call Yo' Mama is in Daryn Johnson's broodmare band and her latest two fillies, Gayfields Call The Operator (owned by Ron Schwartz) and Gayfields Call The Hotline (retained at Gayfields) have show careers ahead of them.   Duchess has a total of 2852 points.
