2005 Individual Legion of Merit

    *EYARTH ELAN-MAI LOM (Carwed Charmer x Eyarth Gemma).  Born in 2000 at the famous Eyarth Stud, Eyarth Elan-Mai was purchased with her mother, Eyarth Gemma, by Clive Morris of the Pennwood Stud.  This pair was entered in the Royal Welsh where Elan won her filly foal class and her dam placed second in the Broodmare class.  Elan's sire, Carwed Charmer, won the stallion class and went on to be Champion Section B under Len Bigley of the Llanarth Stud.  Carwed Charmer is now a multi Royal Welsh Champion as well as International ridden Champion and Sire Rating Champion.

    Later that year we visited Clive and immediately fell in love with Elan.  At that time Clive would not part with her.  The following year, we received a call from Clive wanting to know if we were still interested in the beautiful grey filly who stole our hearts just a few months earlier.  We jumped at the chance to purchase her as we already owned her full sister, Eyarth Dee LOM.  So Elan Mai was on her way to the States and back into the show ring to continue in her winning ways in breeding classes as well as performance! 

    As a two year old, Elan was National Champion Section B filly.  Elan was started under saddle in 2003 and in 2004 she was shown with great success in Adult English Pleasure by Susan Weigand and in Hunter (12.2 - 14.2) and English Pleasure by Junior rider, Devon Williams.  Elan continues to give us so much joy, she has exceeded our expectations in every way.
