FARMORE FLAMBOYANT

1999 Individual Half-Welsh Award of Honour

Proud owner Marshelle Kelville says, "Once in a while a truly exceptional pony is born. When Farmore Flamboyant was still just a foal at foot, he had something very special. Visitors that came to Farmore Farms would  instantly inquire about the flashy red colt in the pasture. He had an aura of greatness that caused everyone to stop and stare. At just one month old he went to his first show and was placed as Reserve Supreme Champion Stallion. This was just a hint of his future accomplishments. As this beautiful youngster has grown into a magnificent stallion, following in the footsteps of his wonderful sire Talybont Quicksilver, he has continued to make people stop and take notice."

Due to an oversight he was not registered until just before he turned three, so he did not start accumulating WPCSA points until he was three years old. He was, however, Sacramento Area Hunter/Jumper Association Pony Hunter Breeding Champion as just a two-year-old. As Splash matured and entered the performance arena, he continued to impress both the judges and the spectators. His superb temperament came shining through in each of his performances. Each new event he was asked to perform, he did with extreme grace and cadence. Everywhere he has gone, he has left new fans in his wake.

Not only is this sensational pony the first Half Welsh to achieve the Award of Honour, he is among the youngest of ponies ever to have earned such an honor. To highlight this wonderful pony's career, here is a list of his major accomplishments:

From 1997 to 1999 under 27 judges he was Grand Champion 22 times and 3 times Res. Grand Champion. He accumulated 6 WPCSA Year End Championships and one Res.. His yearling son, Bailiwick Robbin' Your Heart was Southwest Region Champion Half Welsh Gelding.

Owned by Marshelle Keville, she feels truly honored to have such a special pony. He is a pleasure in every way and a great ambassador for our breed. She is proud that in such a short time he has accomplished so much and looks forward to his contributions to the world of Champion Welsh Partbreds in the future.
