GAYFIELDS CALL THE COPS LOM

(*Sleight of Hand LOM/AOE/OD x Dixie Blue Duchess LOM/AOE)

Gayfields Call the Cops LOM earned his Individual Legion of Merit in 2000.  Since then, Cops has been competing in open competition, (Pleasure Driving and Combined Driving), while his foals have carried on for him in the Welsh ring.  Six of Cops’ foals earned legs toward his Sire Legion of Merit award including Goldhills Mystic Oak, Goldhills Mystique, Goldhills Silver Screen, Goldhills Ready to Rumble, Goldhills Most Wanted, and Goldhills Calendar Girl.  Mystic Oak earned his points showing in hand with many great wins and Supreme Champion Gelding awards.  Mystique earned over 500 halter points by age 3 and now has over 1000 total points, showing in both halter and performance.  Silver Screen had a great year as a two year old showing in hand, including a Supreme Championship at the Western National. Since then, he has gone on with his owners, the Boyd family, to great success both in hand and in performance, and as a fun kids pony.  Silver Screen won the Western Pleasure Division championship at the 2005 American National and has almost 1000 points, split about equally between halter and performance.  Ready to Rumble is another Supreme Champion gelding who also earned performance points in Pleasure Driving and Carriage driving.   Most Wanted is a lovely young stallion who has earned over 500 points in just two years showing in hand.  Most Wanted is the herd sire for Bridlewood Welsh and is owned by Megan Blythe. Calendar Girl is the east coast representative for Cops, she has been shown very successfully in performance by owner Liz Hofer.  Cops’ foals have his great easy going, easy to train disposition and wonderful Welsh type and movement and continue to excel in the show ring.
