HOBBY HORSE T.T.’S GOLD DOLL LOM

(Carousel’s Gold Dubloon x Willowrock Tender Tears)

Tiz Benedict writes...HOBBY HORSE T.T.’S GOLD DOLL, Dolly, is a Section A Welsh Mare foaled in 1980 by Carousel’s Gold Dubloon and out of Willorock Tender Tears who was by Fedora’s Trotter. Dolly was purchased with a two day old foal at side at an auction in October, 1990. In addition to the foal at side, Dolly has had six foals at Severn Oaks, all of whom contributed points towards her LOM. In 2000, Dolly was retired from broodmare service after a foaling mishap. However, in the fall of 2001, Lianna’s Dapper Dan slipped through two fences into the field with the yearlings, retired ponies and horses. Dolly came out of retirement fast, and the next year Severn Dolly’s Folly was born to give us Dolly’s third leg for her LOM. Dolly’s first two legs are Severn Olympia and Severn Coppelia - both sired by Severn West Wind. Dolly is now 27 years old (2007) and definitely retired! She is a sweet, unassuming mare who has had some lovely foals for us!
