LEDINJADON MO DUN IT AGAIN
2002 Individual Legion of Merit
LEDINJADON MO DUN IT AGAIN was foaled in 1993 out of Salvandi Tapestry, a lovely imported mare, and by our own Ledinjadon Major Motion. We nicknamed her Blondie because she sported a VERY blonde mane and tail.
In 1997 our daughter, Lela Castellanos, began showing Blondie to put on some "show miles" for sale purposes. Sometime during that year a love affair began between the two. Lela began to lobby with her Dad to keep Blondie. You know how Dads are with their little girls...we kept Blondie!!
That year Lela and Blondie were AHSA Zone 2 Champion Welsh Pleasure Adult. In 1998, Blondie was bred to International Champion Rhoson Pasiant. The result was a gorgeous palomino colt, Ledinjadon Sunbelievable. Sonny was everything we were certain that Blondie would pass on to her foals. In 2000, Lela was without a mount, sooo…we brought Blondie out of mothballs. Blondie added two new items to her to-do list: Western and fill-in Leadline mount for Lela’s son, Travis. Proudly, we ended the year as AHSA and WPCSA National Adult Welsh Pleasure Champion and 3rd National Adult Welsh Pony Hunter and Western Pleasure.
Feeling that there was nothing more to accomplish with Blondie we retired her until Travis was ready for her. We bred her in 2001 to our stallion, Ledinjadon Tuxedo resulting in a lovely big filly (retained by Ledinjadon). She is again in foal to Tuxedo for 2003. Blondie has all the attributes anyone could want in a pony. We are delighted and proud that she has been awarded her Legion of Merit.
