Rollingwoods Stuck on You LOM

(*Pendock Masterpiece x Timbercreek Bramble)

Rollingwoods Stuck on You LOM (*Pendock Masterpiece x Timbercreek Bramble).  When we acquired the aged broodmare Timbercreek Bramble we were sorely disappointed that her first few foals were colts.  After several years, Bramble finally produced a big filly but by some twist of fate the mare was swaybacked.  This ensured that Rollingwoods Stuck On You would remain in the broodmare band.  Being a Pendock Masterpiece daughter, we decided to breed her to the unparalleled Sleight of Hand LOM/ AOE/OD.  The first filly from this cross was Rollingwoods Sticky Fingers who was a winner in English Pleasure, Hunter, and Halter.  After her three year old year, “Sticky” formed a partnership with the junior rider, Michelle Casperson.  The pair became virtually unbeatable winning numerous championships in Small/Medium Green Pony Hunters.  As one judge put it, Sticky seems to do “courses by Braille” taking care of numerous other small children.   Because Michelle had done such a good job with Sticky it was an easy decision to send the younger sibling, Rollingwoods Stick To It, to her.  Michelle repeated her success and “Stitt” also had numerous championships in English Pleasure and Green Pony Hunter.  Unfortunately all children must grow up and Michelle stopped riding for several years.

Move forward several years and we are at a Houston show when who should round the corner but Michelle Casperson.  Joanna had broken her ankle and was hobbling around and we needed some help.  Michelle agreed to become one of the team again and promptly took over the training of the third leg of this award, Rollingwoods Sticky Situation.  With Michelle’s excellent tutelage, Sticky Situation ended up 3rd in Adult Hunter as well as winning points in Adult English Pleasure and Western Pleasure.  Hopefully Stuckey has several good years left and we can enjoy the beauty, trainability and disposition of her foals for many more years to come.  In addition, unless we work her to death, we can enjoy many more years with Michelle as part of the Rollingwoods family.
