Rosie Norris writes...RosMel Cotillion LOM (GlanNant Tango LOM x HW Gwyndy Glo) was foaled in 1985 at RosMel Pony Farm.  Cotillion is a beautiful big, 14 hand, Sec. B stallion with the most wonderful temperament.   His foals inherit his gentle disposition, are very trainable and love to show.  Both his sire and dam were National Champions and his sire, GlanNant Tango, received his WPCSA Sire Legion of Merit in 1998.  His grandsire, Cusop Sheriff, also has received his Sire Legion of Merit. Cotillion was trained under saddle and shown to English pleasure championships by Rosie Gillett.  He was also a Supreme Champion in hand and then retired to stud duties.  Eight years later we got him going again for the show ring as his sire, GlanNant Tango, needed a few points for his Sire Legion of Merit. Cotillion was a real trouper and it was as though he never left the show ring.  At the age of 13 he was trained over fences. He took right to it and loved jumping and had natural flying lead changes.  He astonished us by winning the 1998 WPCSA National Champion Adult English Pleasure and Reserve National Champion Adult Welsh Hunter shown by Hollis Hughes and Nancy Evans.  Cotillion has proven himself as a sire with many of his foals winning numerous champions in the Welsh and Hunter show ring. The six foals contributing to Cotillion’s Legion of Merit are an outstanding group.  They are National Champion RosMel’s Omni, RosMel’s Sunquest, RosMel’s Amber Glo, RosMel’s Lyric, Burgundy Shannon Rose and Bristol Super Son. Cotillion has a total of 6230 points.
