*Trevallion Lady Diana
2003 Dam Legion of Merit

*Trevallion Lady Diana is an imported 1981 Section D Cob mare, by Derwen Telynor, out of Arthen Bernadette. She was one of 3 Cob fillies chosen by her breeder, Nelson Smith of Trevallion Welsh Cobs as the Cob foundation for Mary Alice & Miriam Williams of Madoc Farm.
Madoc’s five imported Cob fillies were bred first bred to Crossroads Valiant Flyer. Diana’s colt from this cross, Madoc Prince William, owned by Lindsey Allen of The Woodlands, TX, makes up one of her “legs.” William’s points were won in English & Western Pleasure, as well as Hunter and Short Stirrup.
Diana continued her royal theme producing Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Andrew, Queen Victoria, Prince Henry, Prince Edward and her most recent colt, Prince Phillip; all with the Madoc prefix and all by *Kentchurch Chime, himself a 2 time Legion of Merit winner.
Diana’s second offspring to accumulate the required number of points was Madoc Prince Henry, owned by Sarah Christy of Montgomery, TX, who only has 27 breeding points left before winning his own Legion of Merit. Henry’s points were won in Halter, English & Western Pleasure Hunter and Ridden Cob. Henry also excels in Dressage where he has shown through 3rd Level.
Diana’s third “leg” was completed in 2003 by 3 year old GF Prince Albert, by *Sgwdyreara Victor whose points were all accumulated in Breeding classes. Albert was bred by Buddie Ball who leased Diana for a year and is now owned by Laura & Jessica San Diego.
